Originally in this cartoon, 'wedgies' was 'purple nurples' and I couldn't decide which schoolyard prank I wanted to be referenced.  Decided to go with the wedgie. Classic.

Have You Taken Your Tree Down Yet?

This cartoon was inspired by my girlfriend's love of X-mas trees. And her love of the game Fruit Ninja.

Planet Trash

Alien and Dog pulled a WALL-E (one of my favorite movies) with a similar depiction of a future planet Earth. Our planet's future should be a major concern. There needs to be more balance and respect between human society and nature. However, I am left with a quote stuck in my head that I heard somewhere: "there is no profit in saving the earth." Sigh. 

On another note, I feel Geel and Kevin's time travel capability is a bit of a gimmick (I also used it in this one)- I won't be using it often in cartoons.

And yes, I enjoy taking jabs at McDonald's. 

BBQ Pitmaster

I hope everyone had a great holiday and a happy new year! I love food and all things cooking -so for the new year I am going to try and make some good barbeque! Geel and Kevin thought they would give the BBQ pit a try as well...

Christmas Shopping Kinda Sucks

Back up and running!

Had a bit of a break from Alien and Dog- once again we're back! I was busy this last month working on illustrating for some Teachers Pay Teachers projects, which can be seen by clicking here HERE.

This cartoon came to me because it seems people always tell me they think it's funny how Geel the alien has a protruding gut. When drawing this character I honestly didn't even think about it and realize I was drawing him like that- so I find it funny how often I've had people point this out.

I have also been making an effort to exercise more and been shootin' hoops a lot lately and that is shown in this cartoon as well. Thanks for looking- another Alien and Dog cartoon comin' soon....
